Banyumala Twin Waterfall: A Brief Guide

Twin waterfalls Banyumala is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali, Indonesia. It has a height of approx  35-40m with natural beauty. An Amazing waterfalls in the middle of a rain forest and you wont regret visiting.

We visited Ulun Danu, Handara Gate, Wanagiri Hidden Hill and this Waterfall on the same day. And trust me its very much possible as well as you can spend ample of time in each place. You just need to be sure that you can start early morning by 4.30 AM at least from Ubud Area (our stay) to visit all these places in a single day and also to avoid rush.

You will find this place clean and well maintained. Many people were enjoying swimming. My husband couldn't stop himself from jumping into the water after finding out how chilled water is. And yes of course you need to chill after sweating like hell post trekking.

Ticket Fare: 30,000 IDR (with a complementary water bottle)

To Get There: Located in North Bali, It takes around 2 hrs from Ubud and Canggu area. The road down to the parking area is currently in very bad condition. With rain it becomes more risky.

From the car park, about 20-25 minutes walk to the waterfall which includes 15 minutes of trekking. The trip can be a little steep at times and real adventure starts from ticket counter to waterfall. We did little struggle while returning back as you need to climb up and it was tiring.

Tips:

- You have to have footwear with the right grip. We saw many people including us wearing flip flops as we were unaware about the path and it was bit challenging.

- Have a pair of clothes as you can't refrain yourself from taking bath in cold water after a tiring trip.

- Be very careful as on the way you will find uneven path to walk, loose stones, tree roots which has crossed in between and only some parts has railings to hold for support.

- We do not recommend people with knee problem to visit this place as it can be challenging for them.
